Casa Cătuna

Casa Cătuna is situated on a sprawling meadow which is embellished by cherry trees as well as apple and plum trees. A traditionally braided fence of hazel twigs borders the spacious site. The gate at the entrance is an extraordinary work of art made by Stan Ioan Patras from Sapanta. Cătuna was finished in summer 2017 and it inspired our guests right from the beginning. With 140 sqm the house offers a generous space for four people to stay in a wonderful atmosphere. The gallery above the dining area creates an overwhelming harmonious architecture. The wideness around the house is soothing and offers tremendous liberty. The traditionally furnished barn provides one more beautiful place to sit, eat and relax.

On the ground floor you find the library which, at the same time is a second bedroom. It is joined by a little hall, a guest toilet and an open kitchen with a dining area. The kitchen is excellently equipped, so you won’t miss anything.

The living area on the gallery is connected with a comfortable bedroom and with a bathroom. In the library you will find a lot of inspiring books, of course for your kids too.

Travel guides and hiking maps will inform you about the region. Of course you have access to internet via W-LAN.
