Our cottages on Șesuri estate above Botiza are spread generously on a large area and blend harmoniously with nature. They complete the wonderful cultural landscape of the region by their authenticity. These original houses have been turned into very comfortable cottages that meet the highest standards. Art, antiquities and literature create an atmosphere of quiet and relaxation as well as inspiration. From here you can explore the incredibly diverse and beautiful nature that unravels directly from your doorstep.

The surrounding meadows and the entire grounds are mowed gently by hand, annually. Therefore you can still find a rare and protected flora with orchids, wild gladioli, carnivorous plants, cotton grass and lots of other plants. Equally impressive is the fauna with brown bears, wolves, lynxes, wild cats, otters, deer, eagles and a large variety of rare birds such as hoopoes and orioles. On your strolls, you may encounter a large variety of butterflies and beetles.

You can also encounter our own animals only after a few steps out. Your children will be delighted.

It is our special concern that you get in touch with the people here, experience their heartiness. A good start can be a shopping visit to the farmers in the neighborhood.

Our cottages are ideal starting points for walking tours to the near and far surroundings; marked paths invite you to do so. On the back of our Huculs, an original breed of the Carpathian Mountains, you may explore the original mountain landscape, in a very special way. As an alternative you may prospect the surroundings on the saddle of our mountain bikes. Even your hunting ambitions can be indulged here, on our over ten thousand hectares of hunting ground. Excursions to the wooden churches, belonging to the Unesco World Heritage that you find in a lot of Maramureș villages, are very impressing. Also the little railway in the Valley of Vaser and the cemetery in Sapanta are highlights of this region.
